Guiding Principles

Parents and players make virtually all decisions that affect their team, including:
  • Selection and compensation of coaches
  • Tryouts
  • Tournament selection
  • Fund-raising/Team sponsership
  • Roster size
  • Rigor of schedule

Advantages of our Club

We feel there are many advantages that come with participation in our club.  Among the most obvious are the following:

  • Because the club's focus is on support versus control of member teams, politics doesn't interfere with why we are all here
  • It's easy to form a team and "just play".
  • Players can try out for whatever team they choose.
  • We keep red tape to a minimum.
  • Overhead expenses are low - almost all of the player fees benefit that player/team directly.
  • Players, parents and board volunteers are energized!

Dedication to Sportsmanship

Good sportsmanship is a given; the club takes a very tough stand on negative behavior of players, coaches and parents toward referees or opponents. The club reserves the right to apply santions over and above those levied by the District Games Commisioner including suspension or expulsion from the club. In addition, players can be suspended or expelled due to the action of their parents or guests.
